Lovely Katsura Tree in SpringKatsura

Type: deciduous tree 
Annual Growth Rate: 12 to 18 inches 

Comments: Katsura Tree has proven to be a fairly pest free and desirable tree. The fall color is a delicate yellow with some red and the new growth is reddish. The tree has a shallow root system and may be hard to transplant, so should be transplanted while young. Katsura tree has a spreading habit and makes a good shade tree. Its medium-sized, heart-shaped leaf makes it a striking, unusual tree for many landscapes.
