Comments: Japanese Black Pine is an excellent, small, irregularly shaped, pine. The plant tolerates dry soil and salt. The dark green, twisted needles are 5 to 7 inches long.
Cultivars:
'Angelica's Thunderhead' - The buds appear as white "candles" on the tips of the branches.
'Oculis Draconis' - Needles variegated with yellow.
