Comments: Silver maple is a fast-growing, weak wooded tree that is useful in wet areas. It transplants easily but
the root system forms surface roots. Silver maple can be a prolific seed producer giving rise to many volunteer
trees. The fall foliage color is generally yellow.
'Skinneri' - A cut-leaved selection with lateral branches that are more slender and horizontal than
other silver maples. Its large leaves provide shade and beautiful
detail in the landscape.
