We all want to have delicious, nutritious meals with our families. Here are some ideas, tips and recipes to help!

Here you'll find descriptions of our more unusual produce. We'll also provide links to some great recipes for them. If you have one of your own that you love, please send it along to info @ trimpines.com and we'll post it here, too.

Cooking Sweet Corn: A variety of ways to cook sweet corn (a work in progress)

Summer Squash Varieties - we change it up a little each year, and try to have some of these favorites every season. Did you know that you can use any summer squash in you favorite recipes? They're all interchangeable! (pdf file)

Lemon Balm Pesto - a lemony alternative to the traditional Basil Pesto, to use with spaghetti, other pasta. Here's an alternative recipe using shiitake mushrooms!

Garlic Oregano Knots: a crowd-pleasing, pretty alternative to garlic bread or breadsticks

Sauteed Swiss Chard - lemon or vinegar adds a zing to this tasty, antioxidant-filled green. You can also:
    Toss penne pasta with olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and cooked Swiss chard.
    Add zest to omelets and frittatas by adding some boiled Swiss chard.
    Use chard in place of or in addition to spinach when preparing vegetarian lasagna.
